We said this would be a toolkit so we're leaving no stone unturned. You can implement these four steps over the course of the next week, here's how:

• Pray this, "Lord, your Son was a radical inviter. He never withheld the invitation into the new life You promise us. Help me see who are the People of Peace in my life that you would have me boldly invite this Easter. Amen."
• Prepare to receive an answer. Our God is not just a promise maker, but more importantly, he's a promise keeper. Don't wait and see, but expect and be ready. Use the tools to easily share with your friends the Good News this Easter.
• Plan to make it easy. Think of the last time someone invited you to something. They usually tipped the scale by saying, "I'll pick you up" or "I'll buy lunch." What might you be able to do to go above and beyond and make it an easy yes?
• Post. So God's given you a name or names. You've saved the files to your phone or computer. And you know just what will get that person to come along. Now, it's time to go!

Texting is a simple way to get things started. It's a really low barrier way to nudge people we think about every day. Who doesn't love to hear that you've been thinking of them lately and Easter would be a great way for you (and maybe their family) to get together safely.

Here's something to start with, always edit in your own voice and personality:

In-person: Hey ________, just wanted to let you know that my church, New Life, has a really great Easter service planned. It's been difficult to see others this last year but we'd love to see you there Service is at 9:30 am, would you wanna join us or meet us there?

Online: Hey friends! Easter is coming up—and even we're in the same boat about going back to places in person, I'm going to tune into my church's Easter service and would love for you to join me! If you're interested I can send you the link!
