Coming together as a church
This is just a quick follow-up to Pastor Ted's video
I know that some of you have valid concerns with social media because it can be abused, it's an unknown, or it's simply a distraction you don't need. But, if used wisely and with appropriate safeguards, the available technology can be a blessing especially during this time.
Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:31, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
Our goal is to use technology to worship, stay connected and care for one another, and serve our neighbors -- all for God's glory. And we're seeing this happen already as last week's on-line service was viewed by people around the country and even around the world.
Below are the online resources that we have put together to serve each other and come together in times like these.
If you need help setting any of these things up, please contact Brian Frick (firstname.lastname@example.org), and he'll be happy to walk you through the steps. Because we're having to worship and experience community virtually, having the right technology will help ensure we make the most of our current situation.
