NEW LIFE evergreens
WELCOME
Though we in the Evergreens group may be retired from other jobs and careers, we continue teaching and serving. As seniors, we encourage others by staying active in mind and body. We take opportunities to learn and grow. We enjoy praying for and sharing our knowledge and abilities with each other and with the younger members of the congregation.
Our Vision
We aspire toward growing in faith and bearing fruit even in our old age, as Psalm 92:14 says. When there is work to do we serve together; when there is sorrow, we give comfort together; when someone needs help, we lend a hand together; when there is joy, we celebrate together.
Evergreens meet for our monthly gathering September – May on the 4th Thursdays of the month; 11:30am – 1:30pm in the youth building.
Our Mission
To GROW in our love for God as we study His Word together and encourage one another in the faith.
To CARE for each other lovingly as we face the inevitable challenges that come with aging, using our interests, talents, and experiences to show others the love of Jesus.
To SHARE our lives and wisdom with each other and with the church, giving our time as we are able in various church ministries.
